Watching this was like looking back in time to last September,2010.The same thing happened to our 8 year old Border, Derby.We had in into the vet early morning after that evening he was unable to walk...just like that.By noon the next day he was at the dog orthopedic surgeon having his disks repaired. The recovery process was slow,he had to walk and I literally did everything for him,much like an infant. Today he still gets around and goes,,,with a little swagger in the mornings sometimes. The more recent addition of glucosamine to his daily diet has really helped with the stiffness.I watched him run through the backyard the other day,on the trail of a squirrel.
What an inspirational story and so very close to my own. We really are so lucky to have these little prescious dogs in our lives! They are like little angels on earth,teaching us daily the humility and lessons of unconditional love.
