Loyalty

Many of you are familiar with this old painting showing, what looks to be, a Border Terrier next to it's dying owner. This is so beautiful. Dogs are so wonderful. Anyway I just wanted to share this.

I would like to think our pups are loyal to us. But Zoe is such a people loving dog I think she would absolutely crawl up into anyones lap and go home with them in a heartbeat. Jake would not. He sticks by us and especially me where ever we go. He loves people and kids but he is inclined to be by my side over any other. Sometimes he's SO under foot I trip over him (this can be annoying). Any time we sit in a chair or the sofa or lay on the bed they are both right with us, curled up, squished up against us and sometimes looking at us in the face as you see in this painting. We love you too Zoe and Jake, what a gift you are.
